MISSION
Westview's Graphic Design Studio (GDS) helps meet specific graphic design needs of organizations, clubs, teams, and individuals within the Poway Unified School District.
GDS gives students the opportunity to work with various clients from start to finish under the guidance of Mr. Nacu, the Graphic Design teacher at Westview.
Students who volunteer to be a part of GDS gain valuable hands-on experience to advance in the graphic design industry. They handle various business aspects while strengthening their communication skills.
GDS prides itself on completing jobs on time and producing designs at the highest possible standards.
CLIENTS
GDS clients must be an organization, club, team, or individual within Poway Unified School District (PUSD). They must also have a district, school, or ASB account within PUSD.
STUDENT ELIGIBILITY
During each school year, students will have the opportunity to apply for a graphic designer position in the Westview Graphic Design Studio. Students must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for a position:

Complete Graphic Design 1-2.

Complete the GDS Application along with a resume and a web portfolio.

Obtain at least two recommendations from teachers or staff.

Participate in an interview with Mr. Nacu and at least one current member of GDS.
